My Boyish Name

Hey peeps! 

I figured I would tell you all a little bit about my name. 

If you didn't already know it, my name is Ashtyn.

Yes, Ashtyn.

That's when the person I'm talking to gives me a weird look and asks...

"You mean like Ashton Kutcher?"

No, I am not Ashton Kutcher,

Nor does my name have any relation to him. 

Yeah sorry to tell you, but I don't have a weirdo mom like that.

And no, I'm not a boy either.

This is what I deal with in a conversation about my name.

See... there is a reason for the 'Y' in my name.

That is what makes it a girl name people!

Yes, it is different, but hey! isn't being different the new cool?

Haha, I hope you all enjoyed my little rant about my beautiful but boyish name.

The Red Tour in Utah!

Hey guys! Sorry that its been so long. I have been so, so busy lately, but guess what!?! School is out!! So I will be blogging a lot more now, Yay!!!

 Anyhoo, here are some pics from the Taylor Swift concert I attended last week! It was so, so, so amazing! I had such a blast and let me just say that Taylor and Ed are such talented people! I will always be one of their number one fans! Total Tswift fan over here! WHOOT, WHOOT!! Haha, and I must say that Ed Sheeran is quiet the hottie! Hehe, don't tell him I said so!

Christmas Vacation: Day One!

Hey guys! I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas Holiday! I just got back from my amazing ten day vacation! It was so much fun!

My plan is to show pics from each day of my trip, what do you think? Good idea right? Lol, these pictures are of the first day of my vacation. We stayed in Las Vegas for a day before heading to California and this is what we did! Way pretty right? I love the Bellagio; it always just looks so amazing every time I go there.

First Record!!

Wonder Woman!

Wonder Woman has always been one of my favorite super heros. She is just so powerful and amazing! I love Wonder Woman so much that I have the wonder woman barbie doll, a wonder women wallet, wonder women pajamas, wonder women underwear, and a wonder women t-shirt. To top it off, I was wonder women for halloween! Haha! It was pretty fantastic! I am a very devoted fan!

My first Book Review

I loved this book, its something that is completely different from anything I have ever read. It is such an  strange, fantastic idea; that death could fall in love with a soul. This story reminds me of the movie Meet Joe Black; which I must say is one of my favorite movies!

 Back to the book though, if you are one of those girls out there that loves dark, magical, romance then this is the book for you. Abbi Glines did an amazing job at writing Existence. The love that Dank (death) and Pagan share is something so powerful; it sometimes felt like I was actually in the book when I was reading. I can not wait to read the rest of Pagan and Danks journey, I hope it has a happy ending. c:

2012 Olympic Beach Volleyball Final

I don't know about you guys, but I have been in love with Beach Volleyball this year! These are two amazing USA teams that will be competing against each other in the final for the Olympic Gold Medal. The team that I am rooting for with all my heart is Kerri Walsh and Misty May-Treanor. They are so amazing! The way they work with each other is unlike anything I have ever seen. It's like one knows what the other is going to do before they do it; I hope that makes sense. I am wishing them all the luck I can give tomorrow. Who are you rooting for?
