Cya 2011! Gonna Miss You!

Its been such a good year! I bet 2012 will be even better! I'm just looking back on all of those fun memories and some of the not so fun memories. Wow! What a ride! Its weird to think that these are our last minutes in 2011. Anyway I wanted to say goodbye to the year and say its been great! Lets look towards the future! Have a great New Year! <3

Breaking Dawn!!!

Hey guys!! Sorry its been so long, I've been really busy lately. I know I told you guys that I would show you my fake baby I had but I've decided to talk about the best movie ever!!! Breaking Dawn!!!!! I saw it on Thursday this week at 8:00 p.m. and it was so amazing!!! I already want to see it again! Let me tell you right now that Robert Pattinson is freaking hot in this one! The Hunger Games!!

Hey Guys!

Its snowing here in utah!!! I am so happy! Love, Love, Love it!!! Yay!!! <3 This winter is going to be so great!!! So excited! I'm Possible

I have always looked up to Audrey Hepburn throughout my life. She just has a way of sneaking into your heart and touching your soul, that may sound cheesy to some of you but its so true. The way she saw life was so positive. Let me just say right now if you want to cheer-up just go to google and type in (Audrey Hepburn quotes.) I swear they will make you feel happy right away! =) She was such a beautiful person, the movies she was in were also so wonderful. I would have to say that " Breakfast at Tiffany's" is one of my all time favorites. Also one of my favorite Audrey quotes is " Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I'm possible!" That quotes is so true, for things to seem possible you must believe your possible. =) I will write very, very soon!  I hope you all  have rays of light in your day!

The Help

I have been reading a book called "The Help." It has been so amazing! If you love books that take place in the past then this is the book for you! I have always been a girl who loves history and this book is just so perfect! Its great to read about what kind of things took place back then. I cant believe white people were so cruel to blacks in the early 60's, its nice to know that they all weren't like that though. I cant wait to see the movie for it coming out this month, I'm sure it will be wonderful. Now onto other thoughts... Ah, I cant believe that the summer is ending. It seems like it has just begun but now its time to go back to school and experience a whole new year of learning. I'm sure it will be fun, I mean how many times do you get to experience 10th grade! Kevin!!

If you could have any animal in the world, even if it was imaginary what would it be? I don't even have to think about what I would choose! If I could have any animal I wanted it would be Kevin from the movie "Up"! She is just such a cool bird and shes nice, sweet, and very smart! That is everything that I want in an animal, I guess I could just get a parrot but Kevin is just so unique. Oh, and her baby's! They are so adorable! Kevin also lets you ride her, its like having a horse but better! She is such a cool bird and I love all of her colorful feathers! Lol! Leave a comment and tell us what animal you would have. Writing!

Writing can be so great! When ever I feel confused I always turn to writing, Its just a nice way to reflect on yourself I guess. I never thought having a blog could be so much fun and I really never thought that I would start to love writing so much either but look at me now! 9th Grade is almost over!

This year has gone by so fast! I really am going to miss going to hillcrest and all of the great teachers there. I think that summer is going to be so wonderful! Finley we all get the break we have been waiting for and just think after summer we will have a whole new school to go through and explore! Its so exciting! Its going to be so fun going to lagoon in a week and half! There is so much to be happy about right now! Oh my gosh and my sister Shaunte will be graduating 6th grade! I cant believe she will be going to hillcrest next year! She is going to have so much fun! Oh, this is a totally different subject but I am still giving out free blog buttons to the first five people who email me at raysoflight101@gmail.com. Im Not Perfect

No one is perfect no matter how hard they try to be. You know when you have those days when you feel like everything is falling apart? I had one of those days today. It started out okay but each hour that passed came a new challenge or problem. By the end of the day I just had to have a good cry. As I'm thinking right now I realize that most people look at themselves horribly just because of things that happen throughout their day. I believe that if we all got together and told each other what we thought of our selves we would all say the same thing, that we are imperfect. When you hear that word it just makes you sad and then you think even worse things about yourself. Let me tell you right now that its okay to be imperfect. If we were all perfect it would make things so boring. We all play a big part in this world and anyone who reads this I hope you know that you are so important. From now on I will look at my imperfectness as a gift not a curse. Its alright to not always know what to do or say because when it comes down to it we are only human! =) Well I think I better get started on fixing some of my problems now, goodnight lovelies!

Best Friends! (This is just for you Melissa) =)

Best Friends are so important. If you fully want to live your life you have to have best friends. I have two amazing friends that I have talked about through my blog and I just want them to know that they are so special to me. I may sound a little cheesy sometimes but when I write on this blog I truly am speaking from the heart. Its just a way to reflect on the good. Anyway back to my friends, I believe that my friends are somewhat different versions of me, I have so much in common with both of them. I really don't know how I could ever go through life without them. They both have helped me through alot, I hope I have done the same for them. What I love about them both is that they are totally different people, Abby is carefree, happy, and always just looking for the light in life, she really knows how to make people feel better about things especially me! Melissa is very funny, understanding, and even though it doesn't seem like it sometimes I know that she will always care about me as much as I care about her. There is much more that is great about them but because they are both such amazing people it would take forever to list everything that is amazing about them. Guys I hope we all will always be friends! Water for Elephants!

 Water for Elephants was such a great movie! I went and saw it at the theater with one of my best friends Abby, we had a blast! I give the movie five stars.  Today Abby was wearing an elephant necklace and we decided to name it Rosie because the elephant in the movie was named Rosie and she was so cute! She wasn't the only one that was cute though, Robert Pattinson did such a good job! I think its his best movie yet! Anyway, Abby I had a great time and I hope we can do it again soon! Remember Roberts birthday is on the 13th. We have to have a party for him, it will be great! I am becoming a freak over twilight again! This always happens to me. I go from being annoyed with it to totally loving it, its really weird. I guess I will just always be a softy for hot vampires! Edward is at the top of my hotty list.Guess what, I have two favorite animals now! My first will always be tigers but now I think that elephants are pretty dang cool to! Haha, well hope you all have a good night! =)

Magical Love!

Love is such a powerful thing in all of our lives. We truly couldn't live without it. We all love family and friends! Sometimes if you are very lucky you find somebody who is like your other half. When you are with them its like magic is taking place. I have witnessed that magic when seeing one of my good friends with her other half and let me tell you they look perfect together! I am so happy for them both. Its hard enough to know if you have feelings for someone, so how can you know if you really love someone? I believe you really have to look deep down in your heart and think of what you feel when your around that person. If you feel like life could never get any better and that that person truly is a great person and they think the same of you, you have met your match. The easier way to say it is that your in love. There is no word like love in the entire world! I really like someone right now and I want to get to know this person, I am trying and I can only hope for the best! Hey Abby if you are reading this I love you and I hope you feel better! I'm sending light and love to all of you, goodnight! =)

Arent Books Wonderful?

I love books so much! They are such an important part of my life. When I think about it, I would die without books. They all have a special wonderful thing about them. Its like each book is a piece of me and I a piece of them, there is definitely a connection. I may sound like a nerd but each time I read a book I just feel so good inside. Its like an extra boost in my happiness. I just finished two amazing books, one called Tigers Curse and the other called Matched. They are at the top of my favorite book list, if I could I would read them over and over again and I would never get sick of them! Do you want to know the two cute guys in them? Oh, you know you do... ok In the Tigers Curse there is a guy named Ren with bright blue eyes and beautiful black hair with a hot tan. Then there is Ky from Matched, a sweet guy with brown hair and dark blue eyes. He is so smart and cute! I LOVE THEM BOTH! Anyway books are amazing and so important. I wish there were more readers out there. You just have to find the right book for you and then it just clicks. I'm not as crazy as I was in 7th grade but that's when I started to love reading and do you want to know what book it was that got me hooked... Twilight! Ha ha, yeah like I said I'm not as crazy as I was then. I don't regret reading it because I wouldn't love reading as much as I do now. If I went back in the past I would never change my mind on reading twilight, I hope you all take a break and just sit back and read for a change, I bet it would make you feel like a new person. Will Time Ever Slow Down?

It is amazing how fast time goes by! Sometimes I think it goes to fast for me. In a way I'm scared of what I will have to face through life and I find myself looking for a pause button. But in another way I cant wait have my own family and achieve my goals and just have a blast! The only time of the day for me that feels slow is school, it drags on forever. But as soon as I get out of that jungle its as if someone has pushed the fast-forward button and bam before you know it, its time to go to school again! The only reason I am getting though everything in life is because of all my great friends and family! I know you have heard so many people say this before but I would be nothing without them! My two best friends in the world if you are reading this I love you guys and thank you for all of the wonderful things that you have done for me! Also I want to thank you mom for always believing in me and always inspiring me to be a better person. Night everyone, my moms calling me! =)

Sick Day!

Well it all started out with Shaunte, it was Saturday and she was showing signs of being sick but she soon was fine and we didn't worry about it to much. Then on Sunday Maya started slowly showing signs but it soon seemed like she was fine to. Last night everything was normal and then all of the sudden Maya started really not feeling well, (lets just say she did not have a good night). Shaunte started getting a cough, mom didn't feel to well either and last but not least I started getting some major canker sores all around my mouth. The next morning none of us woke up until 9:00 a.m. Maya has been having the worst time out of all of us and I hope she gets better soon, anyway that's why none of us are at school today! Being sick sucks! I hope you all have a good day!

Can Anyone Be True To Themselves Anymore?

Its amazing how easy it is to lie to our selves and others. Sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you try not to, it just happens. You could be sad and just trying to make yourself feel better and then before you know it, it leads you to making up an entire lie just to do so. We cant just face the truth, know what we did wrong and just move on. There are some of us out there that can face the truth and I think that is so cool. Those of you out there I truly look up to you. I hope I will one day be able to face the truth fully without having to lie to protect myself. Yes, it is true I do have my slip ups every once and a while, don't we all? Anyway this post is to inspire those who want to change. Lets all look to the future and also look forward to a better day! The Feeling of Music!

Don't you think music is wonderful? It always seems to lift you up when your having a bad day! When ever I listen to music I feel inspired to go out into the world and do something great! I have always had a deep connection with music. Things just seem so much clearer through a song, don't you think? When I was younger I had a passion for playing the piano, as time went on I slowly forgot about it. But now these past few weeks I have started playing the piano again and it makes me feel so good inside! Whenever something doesnt quiet make sense or I am wanting to get myself out of a bad mood I just listen to the the music I most desire and I soon feel better. We are all connected to music in our own way, many choose to use music to express themselves and I truly think that is brilliant! Just writing about music makes me feel happy! Today I just started writing my own music on the piano and I am so excited to see how it turns out! Anyway if any of you feel the same way as I do about music make a comment! Off to School! Oh happy day!

Well this is my second post! I will be leaving for school in a few mins and I know that I would rather jump back into bed. Well at least its friday, hope it goes by fast. Its like we are all flowers out there in the world, slowly opening up our petals through the day. Once we are finely open we just have to close back up and wait for the next day. Will Life Ever Get Easier?

I always catch myself asking that question almost five times a day. Its hard to come up with an answer for it. I mean I guess it just depends on the person. I also bet that it depends on your attitude towards life. Life has been pretty tuff lately and each day I wounder when it will ever get better. I guess I just have to keep my chin up and just keep doing my best. I have to admit there are thoughs days when it is just so wonderful and I ask myself the total opposite question "Can life get any better than this?" One thing that I have noticed is that teenagers mood change fast and I am truely an example of this. I have to laugh at myself to because you have to admit it can be really funny sometime.
